FM Episode 46: Intentionally Seeing the Positives!
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
“If the voices in our heads control the way we walk through life, then we need to train them to say yes to the life we want and no to the life we don’t.” - Jess Ekstrom from her book Chasing the Bright Side.
Here’s my confession... I have been stuck in the negative. After a year dealing with the pandemic, six months of dealing with serious medical issues, and months of work stress, being able to see the positives have been tough.
This episode discusses getting stuck in a victim (Fixed Mindset) and exercises/strategies to move to a healing (Growth Mindset).
Even a small effort can move you closer to a better mindset and the life you (and definitely me!) want to live!
Please reach out to me if you have your own success stories on how you came back from burnout and found a work/life balance.

“Work Life Balance is not an entitlement or benefit. Your company cannot give it to you. You have to create it for yourself. “ - Matthew Kelly, Author
